The clocks have gone back giving us all a blissful extra hour in bed… but, if your selling your home you will now have less daylight to show people around. The flexibility of being able to conduct viewings before it get’s too dark cannot be underestimated. If possible, in a competitive market we always recommend making your house as available as possible, even it means asking your agent to carry out the viewings whilst you’re at work. Don’t worry though, you’ll get plenty of notice to tidy up and we treat every home as if it’s our own (shoes off at the door!).

The winter market traditionally has less properties coming to the market. But, if you’re selling it means less competition. Our phones don’t stop ringing until Christmas Eve so there is plenty of opportunity to secure a sale before the New Year.
